Members of the North Shore Triathlon Club were thrilled to present North Shore Rescue with a cheque for $10,000 today with proceeds from this year’s North Shore Triathlon. The funds will go towards a future mountain top automated weather station. North Shore Rescue will use these funds, raised in honour of Tim Jones, to purchase and install a remote weather station. This station will enhance both NSR’s ability to respond safely to winter calls and pro-active public safety by enhancing avalanche forecasting on the local hills.
We appreciate the amazing community support and would like to thank the North Shore Triathlon Club again for their generous donation.
