NSR hosted its annual Christmas party this past Saturday. This year the party was hosted at the NSR base (aka “The Embassy”) at the City of N. Vancouver Works Yard.

NSR was please to host a number of supporters and dignitaries including Jane Thornthwaite, Andrew Saxton, Naomi Yamamoto, Don Bell, and local Mayors Darrel Mussatto, Richard Walton, and Michael Smith.

Ohly the Bernese Mountain dog that was rescued last year also made an appearance. There were a number of activities for children as well, including each child receiving a stuffed toy Burnese Mountain dog.

Alex Snigurowicz accepted his lifetime member award. Don Jardine who also received the award was unable to attend. The Green Door Award (presented affectionately to the person who made the biggest mistake of the year) was presented to Patrick Craig.

Thank you to all that attended, and Merry Christmas!
