North Shore Search and Rescue are hoping to hear from the woman who frantically called 911 during a hail and lightning storm on Mount Seymour Friday afternoon.

The woman called for help around 4: 30 p.m., but her conversation with the operator was dropped after she said just six words: “I am on Seymour, need help,” according to SAR team leader Tim Jones.

“I don’t view this as a crank call,” Jones said. “The minute the storm passed I think she got out, got in her vehicle and drove off the mountain.

“Is that the highest possibility? Yes.”…
