North Shore Rescue Volunteers would like to
thank the Employees at both Lonsdale and Parkgate Safeway
Stores for their fantastic support. In 2004 $16,000 was raised
between both stores for North Shore Rescue. |

thousand dollars in funds towards the Cathedral Repeater project
have raised almost $8000 in 2004 as part of the United Way campaign
directed funds to NSR.

Navigata has sponsored a NSR radio repeater site for close
to a decade by providing secure space and power at its Bowen
Island Communications facility. This sponsorship has directly
contributed to saving the lives of lost and injured skiers,
snowboarders and hikers off of Cypress Provincial Park by
providing the ability to maintain secure radio communications
in this very difficult terrain.

with Talon Helicopters. Scotia is a big supporter of NSR.

for $7200 from Barb Ruff (District Vice President, Downtown
Vancouver/Northern B.C.) and Trudy Hofley (Director, Scotia
Private Client Group) which will fund the first purchases
of a new generation of multi-channel / field programmable
radios for NSR. Once again Scotia Bank has been a tremendous
supporter of NSR.

Bob Lepage of Medtronic presents Tim Jones of NSR with
Life Pack 10 monitor and defibrillator. The LP10 will be used
on medical rescues by Jones and fellow team member Dave Sulina
who are both Advanced Life Support Paramedics with BC Ambulance
Service.Once again Medtronic has been a major supporter to

Talon Helicopters
|

Talon Helicopters, owner and Operations Manager, Peter
Murray, along with Chief pilot Ronn Palley, have provided
the team not only with essential rescue services for many
years, but have helped the team by donating air time to
several communications projects that the team has undertaken
- including the Cathedral Repeater project.
