The North Shore Rescue Team trains for avalanche self rescue and organized avalanche response. We encourage the public to become more aware of these hazards and learn the necessary skills to travel safely in a mountain environment in winter. Check the Canadian Avalanche Center North Shore Avalanche Bulletin by visiting the Canadian Avalanche Center at www.avalanche.ca.

Check for the latest avalanche conditions by visiting the Canadian Avalanche Center website at www.avalanche.ca
